Carlyn Kearney Carlyn Kearney A SHETLAND chippie has been shortlisted for two awards at the National Fish & Chips Awards 2013, organised by seafood agency Seafish.

Carlyn Kearney of Frankie’s Fish & Chips, in Brae, will now go up against four other contenders to compete for the title of young fish frier of the year.

Meanwhile the popular fast food restaurant’s owner Valerie Johnson is one of only three shortlisted for the staff training and development award.
